Spain beat Argentina to win second World Cup title

Spain won the FIFA World Cup after defeating Argentina 1-0 in the final, Report informs.

The match was played at New York/New Jersey Stadium.

The winning goal came in extra time, with Ferran Torres scoring in the 106th minute.

Argentina finished the match with 10 men after Enzo Fernandez was sent off in the 90+3rd minute for a second yellow card.

The match was refereed by Slovenian FIFA referee Slavko Vinčić.

Spain have now become world champions for the second time in their history.

England finished third at the tournament after defeating France 6-4 in the bronze-medal match.
