Scandal in Kosovo national team before visit to Azerbaijan

Baku. September 6. REPORT.AZ/ The scandal broke out during the last training of the Kosovo national team ahead of their visit to Baku within the UEFA Nations League match against Azerbaijan.

Report informs citing kocha.net that media representatives, family members and local fans were taken out of the stadium as players started training. However, the Kosovo Football Federation did not inform in advance about holding of a closed training. Journalists, family members and fans of the football players were dissatisfied with this decision of the technical staff. In particular, the relatives of the players showed a harsh reaction as they were leaving the tribunes. The technical staff of the Kosovo national team has not commented on the incident yet.

Notably, the match of the D League between Azerbaijan and Kosovo national teams on September 7 at the Baku Olympic Stadium will begin at 20:00 Baku time. The rival team will arrive in Baku today.
