Saint Etienne to play match with Gabala without coach

Baku. 20 October. REPORT.AZ/ Christophe Galtier, coach of French Saint Etienne, will watch the Europa League 3rd home match with Gabala from the stands.

Report informs, the club's coach has said.

He said that was punished in the last minutes of the last round game with Belgium Anderlecht: "This is unacceptable. I should have more control over myself. I have no talk with the team after entering stadium. It is difficult to work in such a condition. Assistant René Lobello will bear responsibility for the team. Rene is well aware of the positions."

Coach said that he will not watch the match together with fined goalkeeper Stéphane Ruffier: "I will watch the match from a special place allocated by the UEFA. I will be together with our delegate during the match and after. Stéphane can sit anywhere he wants."

Notably, Christophe Galtier rashly marked equalizing goal in the last minutes of the match with Anderlecht on September 29, which caused punishment of the coach.
