Sabail FC negotiating with Michael Essien

Sabail FC has begun negotiations to attract world-renowned Michael Essien.

Report informs citing the official website of the club that the midfielder who has scored nine goals in 58 games within Ghana has a status of a free agent now.

Essen, who started his professional career at Bastia in France, mostly played for England's Chelsea.  The 37-year-old midfielder has scored 19 goals in 168 matches wearing Chelsea uniform. He also played for Real Madrid and Milan clubs.

Notably, Michael Essien has arrived in Azerbaijan for the match "Baku 2019: Stars Finals" dedicated to the final match of the Europa League in early March.
