Baku. 14 January. REPORT.AZ/ The nomination for the position of the president of the Russian Football Union (RFU) has been completed. Report informs that after Vitaly Mutko's resignation, the nominated to this post was Zenit president Alexander Dukov. The Premier League clubs along with various regional federations including RFU supported him. Thus, the election scheduled for February 22 will be formal.
Notably, Vitaly Mutko's resignation from RFU was announced on December 19. Presently, this position is run by the President of the Russian Premier League Sergei Pryadkin.
