Rivals of Gabala and Qarabag at Europa League held their next matches

Baku. 17 October. REPORT.AZ/ Rivals of Gabala and Qarabag FCs, which play at the Europa League, have held next matches at the national championship.

Report informs, 2 of 3 rivals of Gabala FC, fighting at Group C, gained victory during the week.

Competing at the France championship, Saint Etienne received Dijon at 9th round. Match ended 1:1. Taking 1 point, the club ranked 9th with 13 points. German Mainz played home match against Darmsdadt. The hosts won the match 2:1. Following the win, Mainz ranked 7th with 11 points. Belgian Anderlecht defeated Lokeren 1:0 and held the leading place winning 21 points.

Only one team of Group J, where Qarabag also fights, won the match. Greek PAOK played against Iraklis and defeated the team 1:0.

Notably, Gabala will play away match with French Saint Etienne this week. Qarabag will receive with PAOK in Baku.
