Referees of Europa League final match unveiled

Referees of the UEFA Europa League final match to be held in Baku have been announced.

Report informs that the match between English clubs Arsenal and Chelsea was entrusted to the Italian referee brigade.

FIFA referee Gianluca Rocchi will be assisted by Filippo Meli and Lorenzo Manganelli as sideline referees. Daniele Orsato will be the fourth referee.

The main video assistant referee will be Italian Massimiliano Irrati. He will be assisted by Marco Guida from Italy and Szymon Marciniak from Poland. Polish Paweł Sokolnicki will manage off –sites at VAR.

Rocky will be the main referee at the Europa League final match for the first time.

Notably, the final match of Europa League will be held on May 29 at Baku Olympic Stadium. The match will begin at 23:00.
