Referees for Azerbaijan-Faroe islands match named

Baku. 14 November. REPORT.AZ/ All appointments have been made for the match between Azerbaijan and Faroe islands in the fifth round of the UEFA Nations league.

Report informs that the match will be overseen by the referees from Cyprus. Dimitrios Masiasa Marios Kalogirou is appointed the chief referee, Ioannis Lazarus the sideline referee, Omiros Ziorzis the fourth referee, Vasilis Dimitriou and Lukas Sotiru additional assistant referees.

Ukraine's Volodimir Petrov will be referee-inspector, Czech Jaroslav Dudl is appointed the UEFA representative.

The 39-year-old Masiasa is appointed to international matches since 2015. Three years ago he oversaw the match in which Azerbaijan U-17 national team lost to Croatia 0:4 in the elite round of the European championship qualifier.

Notably, the Azerbaijan-Faroe islands match will start at the Baku Olympic Stadium at 21:00 on November 17.
