Real Madrid bids farewell to its defender

Real Madrid has announced the transfer of their defender Javi Sanchez, who was playing for Valladolid on a loan deal and will stay in that club for the long term.

Real Madrid FC and Real Valladolid FC have agreed on the transfer of Javi Sánchez. The club would like to thank Javi Sánchez for all these years of commitment, professionalism, and exemplary conduct, ever since he joined our academy in 2005 at eight years old, and we wish him the best of luck in this new stage of his career.

No transfer fee has been announced. Valladolid wanted to keep Javi Sánchez around as they expected their promising defender Salisu to leave the club in the upcoming transfer window.

Sánchez was always a promising defender in Real Madrid’s academy, and it now looks like he will have a chance to play in the Primera Division for years to come.
