Real Madrid and Barcelona players brawl after Catalan referendum - VIDEO

Baku. 3 October. REPORT.AZ/ Brawl occurred between players of the Spanish national team, Sergio Ramos and Gerard Pique.

Report informs citing AS, the reason is the Catalan independence referendum. Sergio Ramos criticized Barcelona player Gerard Pique for breaking atmosphere in the team. Pique was jeered and booed at an open training session.

"Pique's tweet was not the best thing to do if he doesn't want to be booed," Ramos told reporters.

Ramos, however, said Pique had risked causing divisions in the Spain camp with his comments.

Notably, the referendum was held on October 1. The head of the Spanish Autonomy of Catalonia, Carles Puigdemont has said that 90% voted for independence.
