Qarabag to transfer Kwabena for 300,000 euros

The transfer price of Owusu Kwabena, expected to join the Qarabag squad from the Spanish Leganes, has been set.

Report says, citing the Spanish press, that instead of hiring the Ghanaian footballer, whose contract with the La Liga representative expires in summer, 2022, the last Azerbaijani champion chose to transfer him.

In this case, the 23-year-old forward will cost the Azerbaijani club EUR300,000. However, under the contract clause, Leganes will have 50% of Kwabena's subsequent transfer rights. Cordoba CF, where the striker spent the first half of the season, will also benefit from this transfer.

Kwabena scored six goals in 16 appearances for the Cordoba squad.
