Qarabag completes European Cups with profit of over 10 mln AZN

For a draw with Luxembourg’s Dudelange FC (1: 1) Qarabag FC will receive a prize of 190,000 euros from UEFA as part of the 6th round of Europa League group stage held in Baku.

Report informs that the European football structure pays this amount for every draw in the group stage.

Qarabag FC has earned 2.92 million euros to reach the group stage of the Europa League.

In addition, the team received 570,000 euros for the victory over Dudelange with a score of 4: 1 in Luxembourg, and 190,000 euros for a draw with APOEL (Cyprus) in Baku 2: 2 .

In addition, the Agdam representative has received 280,000 euros, 380,000 euros and 480,000 euros, respectively (a total of 1,140,000 euros) this season for participation in the three qualifying stages of the Champions League.

Thus, the Agdam representative earned 5,010,000 euros ( more than 10 million AZN) for the 2019/2020 season. However, this is not the final amount. The additional amounts left after draws (after each draw 190,000 euros remain) will be divided by UEFA between the participants in the group stage according to the number of wins.
