President of Luxembourg Football Federation condemns Armenian provocation

President of the Luxembourg Football Federation, Paul Philip, commented on the Armenian provocation in the second round of the Europa League group stage match between Qarabag and Dudelange 1: 4.

Report informs referring to L'essentiel that the 59-year-old functionalist condemned the incident :“Sports should not be used to convey political messages. It was not the job of our supporters."

Notably, the unpleasant incident took place after the second goal of the Aghdam team. A drone carrying the flag of separatist regime of Nagorno Karabakh appered in the center of the stadium. Scottish referee John Biton had to stop the match at Qarabag FC's demand. The match resumed from the 31st minute.

AFFA leadership also reacted to the Armenian provocation. The National Association issued a statement condemning the incident.
