Players transferred to Azerbaijan and who left country in 2018 announced

Baku. 31 January. REPORT.AZ/ 13 Azerbaijani clubs took part in transfer operations in 2018.

Report informs citing FIFA report on the results of 2018 that the number of such teams has dropped by 35% compared to 2017. Azerbaijan shares the 96 -102 places with Congo, Armenia, Estonia, Bahrain, Tanzania and Iran.

Brazil tops the list. Overall, 251 South American countries have participated in transfer operations, a 1.2% drop from the previous year. Germany ranked third with 141 clubs (a 1.4% decline) and Spain follows it with 124 clubs (a 26.5% growth).

In 2018, Azerbaijani clubs transferred 77 players, which is fewer by 30% than in 2017.

With this result, the country ranks 73rd. The number of players coming from Azerbaijan was 16% more (58) compared to the previous year. The country is 82nd on this indicator.

Notably, Brazil exported the highest number of players (832) and attracted 677 players in 2018.
