Number of football players in Azerbaijan reached 155,000

Baku. 25 January. REPORT.AZ/ The number of participants of AFFA's "Join Football" online registration system  has reached 155,000 people.

Report informs citing the official website of the association that the 155th person is Salim Mahmudov Aykhan.Within the framework of the project "The neighborhood's star" Mahmudov, born on May 30, 2013, trains on AFFA's artificial pitch at Suleyman Dadashov 577, Yasamal district. The goal of this project is to organize training for children of different ages, to direct them to football, to a healthy lifestyle and to strengthen the propaganda of this sport.The project allows children aged 6-8 to train two or three times a week for free. At the same time, all trainings are provided by AFFA. The project involves coaches who have completed a special coaching course and have a minimum coaching license C.
