Minibus, carrying soccer players crashes in Romania, 16 injured

Bucharest. 6 August. REPORT.AZ/ Fatal traffic accident has occurred in Hunedoara province, Romania.

Eastern Europe bureau of Report News Agency informs, a minibus carrying soccer players collided with a truck in Vetel. As a result, 16 people, of which 14 were members of the football club of Certej, Hunedoara province, got injuries of varying severity. 10 ambulances and a helicopter were involved at the scene. The injured people were taken to the hospitals in Deva city, Hunedoara.

The initial investigation revealed that the truck, which moved from Arad city to Deva, was driven on the opposite side of the road.

Notably, the 17-26-year old 14 soccer players were on way to away match with the football club of Ilia commune, which locates at 20th km of Deva city.
