Media: Arsene Wenger to step aside as Arsenal manager

Baku. 8 January. REPORT.AZ/ Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will leave his post at the end of the current season.

Report informs citing the Foxsports, the 68-year old expert is planning to take advantage of a clause in his contract which would allow him to vacate the post.

Former Arsenal skipper, currently occupying the Manchester City dugout as an assistant to Pep Guardiola, Mikel Arteta will be offered the role if Wenger steps aside.

Notably, Arsene Wenger has been coaching Arsenal since 1996. London's representative won the Premier League thrice and FA Cup and Super Cup seven times under his leadership.
