Azerbaijan's national team sustained a loss ahead of the 2022 World Cup match against Serbia after Mahir Emreli's coronavirus test turned positive, Report informs, citing AFFA's official website.

Under UEFA's medical protocol, the 24-year-old striker will miss the game against Serbia.

The match starts at 10:45 pm (GTM+4) in Belgrade tonight.
