Latvia’s squad for match with Azerbaijan national team unveiled - LIST

Baku. 24 May. REPORT.AZ/ The squad of Latvian national football team has been named for the games with Baltic Cup and Azerbaijan national team.

The head coach,  Mixu Paatelainen, has invited 23 footballers for the match to be held in Riga on June 9. Christian Torres, who played in Gabala, Qarabag and Ravan clubs of Azerbaijani is also in the squad. The Argentine striker has been a Latvian citizen recently.

Goalkeepers: Andris Vanin, Kaspar Iksten, Evgeny Nerugal

Defenders: Maximenko, Vladislav Gabov, Igor Tarasov, Kaspar Dubra, Vitālijs Jagodinskis, Gints Freimanis, Robert Savalnyek

Midfielders: Martiz Oss, Jurkovski, Vyacheslav Isayev, Aleksandr Fertov, Ritvar Rugin, Yanis Ikaunyek, Gleb Kluskin, Vladimir Kamesh, Christian Torres,

Attackers: Valeri Shabala, Davis Ikaunek, Artur Karasauskas, Vladislav Gutkovski

Notably, Latvian team will play on June 2 with Estonia, on June 5 with Lithuania and on June 9 with Azerbaijan. The last game will be held at Daugava Stadium.
