Lars Olsen: "Azerbaijan is a good team, but Kosovo is the best"

Baku. 16 November. REPORT.AZ/ "We had very good trainings and we have no injured player. We look forward to the game tomorrow. We met with Azerbaijan a month ago and were defeated 0: 3. We made gross mistakes. As a result, the opponent punished us. Azerbaijan is a good team. But we believe in our victory,"  head coach of the Faroe Islands team Lars Olsen said at a press conference ahead of the away match with Azerbaijan within the fifth round of the group stage of UEFA Nations League. The 57-year-old Danish specialist also answered journalists' questions at the Baku Olympic Stadium.

- You came to Azerbaijan early - on Tuesday. What do you expect from the upcoming meeting?

- Weather conditions are similar to Faroe Islands. We  came earlier to adapt to conditions here. Even though we lost the first match, the match was equal. It will be the same this time as well.

You have announced the starting squad. Will there be any change?

- I have not declared any "11". Maybe this is an imagination of some media representatives.

- The captain of the team, Atli Gregersen, seemed aggressive at a press conference. Don't you worry about a red card?

- I would not say so. They are very calm. Our emotional state is the same.

- Why did not you not attend the press conference in the first match? If you lose in the morning, can we wait for you, or ...?

- I will be here regardless of the outcome.

- Which team is the favorite in the group? Kosovo or Azerbaijan?

- Of course, I would like to note the Faroe Islands as our captain. But I will not say so. Kosovo was the best among the teams that we played.
