Kukësi manager: Rauf Aliyev failed to justify our hopes

Baku. 21 December. REPORT.AZ/ The head coach of Albanian club Kukësi Mladen Milinković disclosed the reasons of separation of Azerbaijan footballer Rauf Aliyev from the team.

Report informs, Serbian coach told a press conference that 28-year old forward did not justify the hopes.

"Aliyev came to Kukësi to change the situation. But he didn't turn out to be all we were hoping for,” said 49-year-old head coach and wished him every success in his career.

Milinković said that though Aliyev is a good player he is not in the level of Albanian championship. He said for position of striker, he relies on Albanian Guri Sindri: “Guri plays in all our matches and proved that he deserves to play in the main squad. That is why the absence of Aliyev won’t be felt. We don’t expect major change in winter break. I believe in my team.”

Rauf Aliyev said with his own willing he leaves Kukësi where he was transferred from Keshla FC (Azerbaijan) in summer.
