Kosovo nationalizes Manchester City’s goal keeper before match against Azerbaijan

Baku. 27 August. REPORT.AZ/ Kosovo has nationalized Arijanet Muric, who plays as a goalkeeper for English club Manchester City on the eve of first tour match against Azerbaijan in UEFA Nations League .

Report informs, along with playing in U23 team of Manchester City, the 1.98-m-tall player was also ordered for Premier League. Swiss-born Muric is Montenegro-origin. The player, who had been involved in Montenegro U21, agreed to represent Kosovo.

Agim Ademi, president of the Kosovo Football Federation (KFF), expressed satisfaction with agreement with the goal keeper on the eve of Nations League. He also noted that they plan to involve players in Europe and the Football Superleague of Kosovo in the national team.

Azerbaijan and Kosovo national teams, who are in the third group of League D of the UEFA Nations League, will play at 8:00 p.m. on September 7 at Baku Olympic Stadium.
