Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is reportedly closing in on a deal to leave Dutch side Ajax, Report informs via Sport Bible.
The 34-year-old called time on his Liverpool career back in 2023 in favour of a big-money move to Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq.
However, the Englishman's time in the Middle East lasted only six months as he made a swift return to European football by signing for Dutch giants Ajax in January of 2024.
With just days left of the 2025 January transfer window, it has been claimed that Henderson is on the move again.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media: "EXCLUSIVE: AS Monaco are closing in on deal to sign Jordan Henderson from Ajax as new midfielder!
"Permanent move almost agreed on contract until June 2026. Here we go, soon."
