Italy and England suffer worst home loss after long time

Italian and English national teams, who lost home matches to Germany and Hungary, respectively, in the fourth round of the UEFA League of Nations, suffered a heavy defeat after a long time.

The Azzurri lost by conceding at least 5 goals for the first time since 1957 against Yugoslavia in the Central European Cup match (1:6). Yesterday’s match against Germany ended in a 2: 5 defeat.

Meanwhile, England suffered the worst home defeat after 94 years. The last time the Three Lions suffered such a heavy defeat was in a match against Scotland which ended 1: 5 at the Wembley Stadium in 1928. Yesterday they lost again by a margin of 4 goals.
