Iskandar Javadov: There is nothing special in rewarding for a draw with Croatia

"During such difficult games, the team needs motivation. Therefore, management raised the issue of award, " member of the Executive Committee of AFFA Iskandar Javadov, commenting on the payment of awards to the players of the Azerbaijani national team for the 1: 1 draw in the match with Croatia as part of the  Euro 2020 qualifier.

According to Javadov, this is common in world practice: “Rewards are paid for a draw and victory. That was when we played football. Croatia is the silver medalist of the World Cup, the team takes the 7th place in the FIFA ranking."
