In the most prestigious club tournament of the continent, a total of 8 specialists led teams to 100 and more matches.
The leader in the ranking is Alex Ferguson with 202 matches.
The round of 16 match against Real Madrid (2-5) was Jurgen Klopp’s 100th in duty of Champions League coach (36 with Borussia Dortmund, 64 with Liverpool). He became the 8th coach to reach this milestone.
The table below includes the era of European Cup (1955-1992) and does not include the qualification stage of the competition.
