Baku. 17 April. REPORT.AZ/ "Garabag" football team's goalkeeper Ibrahim Šehić had his the 100th match in Premier League (PL).
Report informs citing the official website of the Professional Football League (PFL), during Azerbaijan championship XXVI round match with Inter has become an anniversary match for Bosnian goalkeeper. Up to date he missed only 61 balls. In 2013/2014 season, Šehić reached 100 in 4 championships.
29-year-old player is the second legionary goalkeeper in the history of Azerbaijan championships who played in 100 and more matches. Only one foreign goalkeeper had that much games so far. Inter’s former goalkeeper Giorgi Lomaia had125 matches. Georgian legionary who played in Azerbaijan for 7 seasons missed 91 balls.
In total, Šehić is 28th goalkeeper who had 100 or more matches.
Notably, "Garabag" won "Inter" 3: 0 and become a consistent champion for 4th season in a row.
