Galatasaray's new president not accepts Terim's resignation

Baku. 22 January. REPORT.AZ/ Fatih Terim, manager of Turkish club Galatasaray, has resigned.

Report informs, new president of the Istanbul club, Mustafa Cengiz told TRT Spor. He said that resignation of the experienced manager was not accepted.

"Fatih Terim resigned as a sign of respect to me. But I did not accept it. Firstly, I proposed to work with Terim. We will continue with our manager", Cengiz added.

Notably, Fatih Terim was appointed manager of FC Galatasaray for the 4th time on December 22, 2017. At that time, Dursun Özbek, who lost in the last election, was the club president.
