Gabala FC player stayed in Tbilisi because of surgery

Gabala FC player Ivica Žunić injured in the second qualifying round of the Europa League against Georgia's Dynamo has undergone surgery.

Report was told by Manager of Gabala Sanan Gurbanov that the surgery took place in Georgia and it was successful.

Gurbanov said that defender had eye socket fracture: “Žunić stayed in Tbilisi. Doctors will inform about his condition. The player will not play for at least a month”.

Notably, the match ended with a 0: 3 in favor of Dynamo FC. In the 37th minute Žunić collided with his team-mate Rasim Ramaldanov and was hospitalized.
