Funds paid by sponsors to football clubs in Azerbaijan diminished

Baku. 4 March. REPORT.AZ/ In 2017, the total revenues of Azerbaijani football clubs have increased by 20 percent compared to 2016, according to AFFA's 2018 report. The official document says that in 2017, sponsors' contributions amounted to 40 per cent of the club's total revenues. In 2016, this figure was 59 percent. Instead, UEFA revenues rose from 37 to 54 %.
