Former Russian national football player eager to play within Azerbaijan squad appeals to AFFA

The new transfer of Sumgait FC Jamaladdin Khojaniyazov wants to play within the Azerbaijani national team. Report informs that the due statement was made by club president Riad Rafiyev. According to him, the former defender of Russia's youth national team has made a request to AFFA. Rafiyev said Khojaniyazov was admitted to Sumgait because of this appeal.

During his career, Jamaladdin Khojaniyazov, a Turkmen national, who played within Zenit, Amkar, Dynamo, Baltika and Ural, had a legionnaire life in Norwegian Aarhus team.
