Football match in Brazil abandoned after 9 players sent off

Baku.19 February. REPORT.AZ/ A Brazilian football match between Vitoria and Bahia was abandoned after 9 players of the team were sent off.

Report informs citing the TASS, the Reuters has said.

The match between the teams was held on Sunday, and after the first time Vitoria was leading 1-0. Following the break Bahia evened the score after which a brawl started and the referee was forced to send off the three Bahia footballers and two Vitoria players. Later the referee decided to discipline the clubs by sending off one player from each of them.

Two more Vitoria players were sent off at the end of the second time with only six players left on the field. Under the rules, the match cannot continue if one of the teams has less than seven players left.
