FIFA president arrives in Tajikistan on official visit

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has arrived in Dushanbe on official visit, the press service of the Tajikistan Football Federation said, according to Report.

As part of his official visit, Infantino will hold a number of important talks, including a meeting with country's President Emomali Rahmon, as well as the leadership of the country's football federation.

The meetings will discuss issues of the further development of football in the country.

Moreover, Infantino will also take part in the eighth Congress of the Central Asian Football Association in Dushanbe to be held on May 2.

The leadership of CAFA for a new four-year term will be elected at the event.

After Tajikistan, Infantino will travel to other Central Asian countries. He is expected to visit Kazakhstan on May 3 and Kyrgyzstan on May 4-5.
