Baku. 5 July. REPORT.AZ/ Former president of Neftchi football club, Orkhan Huseynzade has been appointed to the Europa League match.
Report informs, O.Huseynzade will become UEFA representative in the first match of the first qualifying round to be held on July 12 between Israeli Beitar (Jerusalem) and Georgian Chikhura. The match to be held at Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi will be led by the Norwegian referee brigade under the chairmanship of Kai Erik Steen.
Another Azerbaijani UEFA representative, Konul Mehdiyeva, will work in Liepaja city of Latvia. He has been appointed to the first match of the I qualifying round between Liepaja and Swedish Häcken at Daugava Stadium. The match will be led by Italian Marco Guida.
There were no appointments to Azerbaijani international referees and referee inspectors.
Notably, Orkhan Huseynzadeh resigned from presidency of Neftchi on February 16. Kamran Guliyev is currently working on this post.
