Europa League 1/16 draw will be held today

Baku. 12 December. REPORT.AZ/ The UEFA Europa League 1/16 final draw will be held today. 

Report informs, rivals of three Turkish teams will also be named at the ceremony to be held in Nyon, Switzerland.

All of them - ‘Beşiktaş’, relegated from Champions League, ‘Fenerbahçe’ and ‘Osmanlıspor’ both Europa League groups leaders, have been placed in seeded pot.

Groups stage rivals of ‘Gabala’, French ‘Saint Etienne’ have been placed in seeded, Belgian ‘Anderlech’ in unseeded pots. Italian ‘Firorentina’ qualified form group J, where ‘Karabakh’ used to play, has been included in seeded, while Greece ‘PAOK’ in unseeded pots.

The teams from same association as well as Russian and Ukrainian teams won’t face at 1/16 finals.

1/16 final matches will be played on February 16 and February 23, 2017.
