Emin Agayev refused to become head coach of Sumgayit FC

Baku. 7 June. REPORT.AZ/ "New coach Aftandil Hajiyev called me and offered to work with him. I agreed with pleasure”.

Report was told by Emin Aghayev, the coach of the Sabail football team.

Former Azerbaijani football player said that the offer was interesting for him: "As a trainer I have been working only in Russia. I needed to test myself in Azerbaijan. It will be a good experience for me. The offer came from a good friend. I had never been invited before. If I had such an opportunity, I'd accept it."

A 45-year-old specialist said that after agreeing with Sabail, he has been made offer to the post of head coach of Sumgayit team: "There was such a choice, but I did not accept it. Because I already promised Aftandil Hajiyev".

Notably, Emin Aghayev, who played for Azerbaijani national team in 1994 and 2005, headed the Dagdizel Kaspiysk and Tver’s Volga volcano in Russia.
