Elkhan Mammadov: Although I couldn’t win UEFA EC election, I gained a great experience

Baku. 6 April. REPORT.AZ/ AFFA Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov shared his views on UEFA Executive Committee election. 

Report informs, E. Mammadov told in his interview with affa.az that although he couldn’t win UEFA Executive Committee election, he has gained great experience.

According to him, over the past period since the meeting of AFFA Executive Committee, he has met with senior officials of the 50 national associations from 55 UEFA member countries: “I presented the program to them, and we have exchanged views on issues related to development of football.

Although I couldn’t win the UEFA Executive Committee election at the 41st UEFA Congress on April 5 in Helsinki, Finland, during preparations for the election I met with Europe's most influential football figures and those meetings were a great experience for me and my future career, I will try to benefit from this experience”.

At the end, E. Mammadov thanked 24 national associations who voted for him in Congress and everyone who gave support during preparatory period, the country's football community, media representatives and the whole football family.
