Date of publishing annual financial reports by Azerbaijani clubs specified

Baku. 5 December. REPORT.AZ/ The date of publishing annual financial reports by Azerbaijani football clubs has been specified, AFFA deputy secretary general Sarhan Hajiyev told Report. He said that the clubs must do it in the process of licensing for 2019/2020 until mid-March of the next year: "The clubs must publish annual financial reports on their websites or AFFA's official website. This is the A criteria of the licensing procedure and it is binding. The clubs must submit the 2018 reports in March of the next year."

According to the representative of the national association, the report-making criteria have not yet been clarified. Hajiyev said a letter from UEFA is expected in this regard: "It is not specified what the report must contain. For example, we do not know whether salaries must be indicated. In this respect we are waiting for a letter from UEFA. After we receive the criteria, they must be approved at the session of the AFFA executive committee scheduled for this month."

Notably, the club committee session held on December 4 discussed the issue of publishing annual financial reports.
