Cyber sport may be included in 2024 Summer Olympic Games program

Baku. 9 August. REPORT.AZ/ Cyber sport may be included in the program of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

Report informs, chief of the Organizing Committee of the Games to be held in France’s capital Paris Tony Estanguet told Associated Press.

He said that discussions will be held between cyber sport representatives and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in this regard.

The program of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games will be determined in 2019, and it will be approved after Tokyo 2020.

Notably, cyber sport is the title given to computer game competitions. They are organized mainly between professional players. Strategy games, combat games and sport games are often present in cyber sports.
