Croatian national team player: “Meeting with Azerbaijan will be tough”

Report informs, Croatian footballer Borna Barišić said in his interview with Jutarnji List, commenting on first two rounds of the V group stage of the qualifying round of 2020 European Championship.

A 27-year-old defender who played within at the Scottish "Rangers" said that the we should be fully focused on the upcoming meeting: "If you go to the games quietly, the result will not be good. Each opponent can surprise you. Knowing our qualities I think there will be no problems. We must take responsibility. I do not doubt that all members of our team are professionals. Our players play in big clubs. They must win these two matches”.

Notably, Croatian national team will face Azerbaijan on March 21 in Zagreb and Hungary on March 24 in Budapest.
