Club, goalkept by Kamran Aghayev transfers a new keeper

Baku. 4 January. REPORT.AZ/ Portuguese FC Boavista will transfer a new keeper.

Report informs citing Maisfutebol, Brazilian Wagner da Silva will be leased by the end of the season.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper played for Estoril FC in 2010-2015. The last club he played for was Belgian FC Mouscron. Recently, Mouscron appointed Khazar Lankaran former coach Mircea Rednic to the post of head coach. Wagner was removed from the first team after 1:5 loss in the sixth round home match against Zulte Waregem on September 10, 2016. The experienced goalkeeper scored an own goal. Playing at top 11 only once, currently Wagner is not given a chance even by Rednic. However, the player had 28 games without replacement in 2015-2016 season.

Notably, first keeper of Boavista is a member of the Azerbaijani national team, Kamran Aghayev. After transfer of Wagner da Silva, Kamran Aghayev will face serious rivalry, back-up goalkeepers Mamadou Ba or Michael Mayra will leave the club.
