Chelsea player: Atletico complicated its situation after draw with Qarabag

Baku. 28 October. REPORT.AZ/ Atletico has complicated its situation after the draw with Qarabag. 

Report informs, England's Chelsea player Marcos Alonso said in an interview with Marca commenting on the Champions League group stage match of his rivals' that ended in goalless draw in Baku. 26-year-old left wing defender said they are glad that Chelsea is the leader of the C group with 7 points. 

Alonso, who was up brought in Real Madrid said he has sympathy for Atletico: “We played well against Atletico, which has achieved positive results in recent years. This match should be an example for the rest of the season. The question whether I want Madrid club to leave the group is difficult to answer? I have a sympathy for Atletico. But I'm just concerned about our meeting with Roma. We can win and qualify for the next round”.

Notably, on October 31, in the framework of the 4th round, Qarabag will be the guest of Atlético, Chelsea will play with Rome.

The London representative will be able to qualify for the 1/8 finals if it wins Rome.
