BOS to be delivered for UEFA 2019 Europa League final in May

Baku. 27 February. REPORT.AZ/ The date when Baku Olympic Stadium (CSO) will be delivered for UEFA 2019 Europa League final has been determined.

Report informs citing the press service of Baku Olympic Stadium that the arena willl be used by local Organization Committee and the continental football organization 20 days before the decisive game - from May 9.

During the final stage of EURO 2020, Baku Olympic Stadium will be presented to the UEFA a month before start of the race.

Notably, in connection with the 60th anniversary of the European Championship, for the first time the race will be held in 12 different countries with the participation of 24 teams on June 12 - July 12 2020. Beside Baku, the matches of Euro 2020 will be held in London (England), Munich (Germany), St. Petersburg (Russia), Rome (Italy), Copenhagen (Denmark), Bucharest (Romania), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Dublin ), Bilbao (Spain), Budapest (Hungary) and Glasgow (Scotland). 3 matches of group stages and 1 round of ¼ finals will be held at Baku Olympic Stadium. The matches in the 68,700-seat stadium will be held on June 13, June 17, June 21 and July 4, respectively.
