German Bild has published an extensive article about the UEFA Europa League final match due in Baku.
Report informs that, according to the article, the Azerbaijani capital for the first time attracted special attention owing to the conduction of the Eurovision song contest in Baku on May 26, 2012.
The article speaks about the attractive city of Baku with its numerous historical and modern buildings: "The most populated city in the Caucasus is located on the seashore, it is also called 'the city of winds'. Here locate the Maiden Tower, the Shirvanshahs Palace that were included into the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000. Amazingly, there are Jewish, Christian and Islamic religious temples in the city. Baku somewhat resembles Paris, Dubai and Moscow. That is Baku combines the specific features of these three cities."
The publication also provides information about the Baku Olympic Stadium and explains the route of getting to the stadium.
"The prices for airplane tickets from Frankfurt to Baku start from EUR 130. There are the companies that offer various packs for the Europa League final which includes hotel accommodation, transfer to the stadium and back and a tour around the city," the article notes.
Notably, the Europa League final is to be held on the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijani capital on May 29 with two Londonners - Chelsea and Arsenal - to compete for the trophy.
