Berti Vogts criticizes transfer policy of Bayern FC

Baku. 25 December. REPORT.AZ/ The former head coach of Azerbaijan national team Berti Vogts is not satisfied with transfer policy of German club Bayern.

Report informs, 71-year-old coach in his interview told the local press.

He spoke against the club leadership’s decision for not spending large amount of money for transfer of star player.

“I would rather get a star players for 80, 90 million EUR than three ordinary ones for 20. The Bavarians have to have the courage sometimes. You can afford it. There must be a fresh wind in the team. Especially on the offensive positions they have to refill. The best thing for Bayern would be if you could agree on yet another year of cooperation with Jupp Heynckes", he added.

The president of Bayern München Uli Hoeneß and chief executive officer of the club Karl-Heinz Rummenigge have repeteradly said that they will not spend large amount of money for transfer of star players. They said they will focus their attention on their footballers.
