Azerbaijani national football team descend in FIFA ranking - UPDATE

Baku. 7 February. REPORT.AZ/ FIFA has published the first ranking of world teams for 2019.

Report informs that the Azerbaijani national team has descended one step compared to the previous list. The national team is in the 108th place with 1,206 points.

The national team has not played any matches since the rating released in December last year. The Asian Cup final, as well as friendly matches, took place over the past period.

Croatia's position on the rivals of Azerbaijani national team at the Euro 2020 qualifying round remained unchanged. The team is in the 4th place with 1,634 points. The Welsh national team also preserved its position. The team is in the 19th place with 1,525 points. Slovakia descended 2 points and ranks 29 with 1,483 points. Hungary has also changed its position. The team is on the 52nd place with 1412 points.
