Azerbaijani referees given new UEFA appointment

FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev and FIFA assistant referee Elshad Abdullayev have been appointed to the matches to be played in the 8th group of the qualifying round of the U-17 Men's European Championship, Report informs, citing AFFA's official website.

In addition, the head of AFFA's International Relations Department, a member of AFFA's Executive Committee, Konul Mehdiyeva, was appointed to the matches of the 7th group of the qualifying round of the U-19 Women's European Championship.

He will be the representative of UEFA in the games to be held in Portugal from October 5 to 11. Norway, Belgium, Portugal, and Malta national teams will compete in this group.
