Azerbaijani nominated to RFU Executive Committee membership

Baku. 24 August.REPORT.AZ/ List of the candidates for the Russian Football Union (RFU) presidency and Executive Committee (EC) membership has been approved.

Report informs, Azerbaijani-born President of the Russian Mini-Football Federation (RMFF) Emil Aliyev is also among 21 candidates.

He has headed the RMFF since 2011. If elected, E.Aliyev will be represented at the EC membership for the first time.

Also, 4 persons - Valery Gazzaev, Igor Yefremov, Vitaly Mutko and Sergei Pryadkin have been nominated to the post of RFU president.

Notably, the elections will be held in Moscow on September 24.
