Azerbaijani national team descends in FIFA rating

FIFA has released a new rating of national teams.

Report informs that the Azerbaijani team ranked 114th with 1,117 points.

The team led by Nikola Jurčević dropped by three points.

The reason for the decline is the loss of the national team against Wales in Baku and Slovakia in Trnava in the last qualifying match of Euro 2020. The top "three" of the rating remained unchanged. Belgium ranks first with 1,765 points, France is second with 1,733 points, while Brazil is in the third place with 1,712 points. Turkish national team progressed by three steps. Şenol Güneş’s ranks 29th with 1,494 points.
