Azerbaijani National Anti-Doping Agency and UEFA to sign for cooperation

Baku. 29 August. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani National Anti-Doping Agency (ANADA) and UEFA will sign a cooperation agreement in the near future.

ANADA Executive Director Shafag Huseynli told Report.

According to her, after the official agreement, agency officials will be allowed to take doping tests during all countrywide international matches. This permission will also apply to the Azerbaijani national team's qualifying group matches in the 2018 World Cup and Qarabag's home matches in Champions League group stage.

Notably, ANADA and AFFA (Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on July 5. According to the provisions of the Memorandum, starting from this season, players involved in the Azerbaijani Premier League as well as in the Azerbaijani national teams will be under doping control, various events, seminars will be held in this area, awareness-raising activities will be conducted.
